| Maoist militant killed in Iloilo clash |

| [ABS-CBN] A suspected New People's Army militant was killed and a Philippine soldier was injured in separate clashes in Tubungan, Iloilo. The 82nd Infantry Battalion was conducting operations in the area when they encountered the alleged NPA militants. Corporal Paul Saldo sustained a gunshot wound during the ensuing clash. In a follow-up operation on Tuesday, an alleged militant identified as Harold Tabsing was killed by soldiers a few kilometers away from where the first encounter happened. |
