| Hussaini scouts member killed in 'sectarian' attack |

| [DAWN] A mechanic who was also a member of Hussaini Scouts was rubbed out in a suspected sectarian attack in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Monday evening, according to Sharea Faisal police. Police said that Syed Zakir Husain, 36, was on his way home after closing the workshop when two armed motorcyclists attacked him near Asia Restaurant in Pehlwan Goth and fled. He sustained critical injuries and was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where doctors declared him dead. He's dead, Jim! on arrival, said police.
