Rand Paul Backs International Investigation of U.S. Military
2015-10-07
[Wash Free Bacon] Rand Paul backed calls for an international investigation of the U.S. military after American forces inadvertently bombed an Afghan hospital over the weekend.

The hospital was "mistakenly struck" during an American air strike on Saturday, killing 22, according to the U.S. commander in Afghanistan.

The U.S. and Afghan militaries have already launched their own investigations into the incident, but activist groups are calling for a separate probe by an "independent international body."

Paul said he had no problem with such an investigation during an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday.

"You're a physician, you're a doctor," said Blitzer. "Do you agree with the executive director of Doctors Without Borders, that in addition to the U.S. investigation, the NATO investigation, the Afghan investigation, there should also be an impartial outside international investigation?"

"Yeah, I don't mind an outside international investigation," said Paul.
Yea, and 'I don't mind' if you go straight to bloody HELL !

#5  He should have said he'd also like an investigation into MsF and the whole NGO/"charity" sector.

#3  My own independent investigation has found incontrovertible evidence that people get killed in wars. What we need is an investigation to determine exactly what our illustrious president hopes to accomplish with his little war in Afghanistan other than a highly profitable opium business.

#2  For a supposed libertarian, he is pretty cozy with tyrants overseeing us.

Fuck off Rand. You have lost my respect forever.
