[Jpost] A suspicion man approached the Lion's Gate in Jerusalem's Old City on his way down from the Muslim cemetery nearby on Monday morning with his hand in his pocket, according to police reports.
Border Police officers stationed in the area ordered the man to stop for inspection. The terrorist approached the officers, pulled a knife from his pocket, and attempted to stab a police officer in the chest.
The terrorist was shot and killed by Border Police. The officer's protective vest prevented any injury to his person. |
