Iraqi Special Forces arrive in Jamil Fatih west of Baiji

[IraqiNews] Salahuddin – A security source in Salahuddin province said on Wednesday, that the special forces and al-Hashed al-Sha'bi militia had managed to reach Jamil al-Fatih near al-Siniyah west of Baiji District.

The source informed IraqiNews.com, "A force of the 57th brigade of the Special Forces, backed by al-Hashed al-Sha'bi militia, were able to arrive in Jamil al-Fatih near al-Siniyah west of Baiji District."

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, "The security forces are continuing to advance in the operations to liberate all the areas of Salahuddin province."

19 security elements killed, wounded in the battles of northern Salah al-Din

[IraqiNews] Salah AL-Dien – A security source in Salahuddin province announced on Wednesday, that 19 elements of the joint forces had been either killed or maimed in the battles to liberate Salah al-Din areas (170 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "The outcome of the battles that were launched, today, to liberate Salahuddin from control ISIS, has reached 7 dead 12 maimed.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “The dead and the wounded fell during confrontations with ISIS on the outskirts of al-Siniya area and parts of Baiji (40 km north of Tikrit).”

Federal Police: Joint forces fully liberated Baiji refinery

[IraqiNews] Salah AL-Dien – The federal police command announced on Wednesday the liberation of Baiji refinery, indicating that the joint security forces were able to kill large number of ISIS holy warrior.

Federal police captain Raed Shakir Jawdat said in an interview for IraqiNews.com "our forces and al-Hashed al-Shaabi have liberated Baiji refinery, in addition to seizing three armored carriers (BTR) on the outskirts of the refinery and killing dozens of ISIS elements."

Noteworthy, a source in the leadership of Salahuddin operations reported on Wednesday, that the security forces have liberated 90% of Baiji refinery, after fierce battles with the organization.
Ninety percent, 100 percent -- potayto, potahto... Or perhaps not. It remains to be seen.
Iraqi Anti-Terrorism announces the death of ISIS military commander in Baiji refinery

[IraqiNews] Iraqi Anti-Terrorism Force announced on Wednesday the killing of an ISIS military commander in Baiji refinery north of the city of Tikrit.

Media adviser of the Anti-Terrorism Force, Samir Shuwaili, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, "the anti-terrorism killed the military commander of ISIS in Baiji refinery, along with dozens of ISIS elements in Albu Jawari area north of Baiji district."

Badr Organization announces besieging Baiji refinery in Salahuddin

[IraqiNews] Badr Organization asserted on Wednesday, that it has made a rapid progress in the areas of Salahuddin province, pointing to the siege of Baiji refinery and thermal power station in the province.

Organization's official in Karbala and the member of the provincial council Hamid Sahib al-Karbalai said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, "Badr forces in the military wing have made a rapid progress in the areas of Salah al-Din, after the announcement of zero hour by the leader Alhaji Hadi al-Amiri."

Al-Karbalai added:" Baiji refinery and thermal power station in Salahuddin province are completely besieged."
