| 15 die in bomb attack in al-Shaab |

| (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced on Monday the killing and wounding of 15 people in a suicide bombing that targeted a Husseini convoy in al-Shaab area northeast of Baghdad. The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The outcome of the suicide bombing by an explosive belt, which targeted Husseini convoy in Shaab area northeast of Baghdad, reached four dead and 11 injured,” adding that the victims toll may rise because of “the intensity of the bombing.” The source, who asked anonymity, added: “Ambulances rushed to the area and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment, and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department, while the security forces have imposed strict procedures in anticipation of similar attacks.” |
