| 6 Iraqi soldiers wounded in bomb attack near Latifiya |

| (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced on Monday, that six elements of the Iraqi army were wounded in a bomb blast that targeted their patrol south of Baghdad. The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded, this morning, targeting an Iraqi army patrol as it passed in Latifiya south of Baghdad, resuling in the injury of six elements.” The source, who asked anonymity, added: “Ambulances rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the security forces cordoned off the area of the incident and prevented approaching it.” |
