| Three injured in grenade attack on DIN News office in Lahore |

| [DAWN] LAHORE: Person or persons unknown hurled a hand grenade on the Lahore office of a local television channel DIN News on Tuesday evening, injuring four people. According to initial reports, two coppers and a channel staffer was injured in the grenade attack. Police constables Ejaz and Nazir suffered injuries in the attack, details revealed. The attackers also threw pamphlets containing threats from 'Daulat-e-Islamia' (Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. Last month, a similar attack outside another news channel, Dunya News' Faisalabad ...formerly known as Lyallpur, the third largest metropolis in Pakistain, the second largest in Punjab after Lahore. It is named after some Arab because the Paks didn't have anybody notable of their own to name it after... bureau had left three of the channel's employees injured. The attackers had also thrown pamphlets containing threats from a certain 'Daulat-e-Islamia Khorasan' (Islamic State- Khorasan group) claiming responsibility for the attack. |
