| 12 Killed In Wardak Mortar Attack |

| Local officials say at least 12 people including children were killed in a mortar attack in Wardak province on Friday morning. Secretary of Wardak provincial council, Sharifullah Hotak said the incident took place near a mosque in Dandokai village in Sayed Abad district at around 10am. He said war was ongoing between Afghan National Army troops and the Taliban in the area. He added that at least six people were also injured. |
