| It would appear in this article [dated Dec 5] that Malik's extended family had strong ties to Islamic Radical elements in Pakistan, yet the State Dept. Investigation for her K-1 fiance visa found no such issues and allowed her to enter the US to marry Farook and establish permanent residence. Sort of begs the question regarding gov't "vetting" of refugees or anyone else for that matter. That of course assumes there ever was a question regarding governmental abilities. |

| #2 In the U.S., immigration officials and politicos act as if there is some entitlement that requires we accept the Muslims from places that are our enemy into our country. That is insanity. |

| #1 it is irrelevant whether there are links or not It will not help stop the next attack done by a person who speaks to nobody and is linked to nobody but who truly believes that killing for allah will get him a golden ticket to paradise with no judgement on the way Islamist ideology is the problem ISIS is just the symptom this is not a crime and punishment narrative. You cannot win it by cops and spies. The ONLY way to win it is to actively support these people - muslims who are fighting Islamofascist ideology support them, fund them, give them a platform to speak in the media frequently and often and silence the Islamofascists. Deport them, prosecute them under treason laws. Declare the Caliphate (not ISIS) the enemy and ban sharia. make it crystal clear that under no circumstances will religion be allowed to dictate laws. A secular society is the only one that can work This is what will work. |
