| Army officer killed for collaborating with Shaboobs in Waajid |

| An official says the army soldiers have shot and killed a colleague suspected to be an Al shabaab secret agent in the western town of Waajid, the regional district of Bakool, Confirming the incident, Col Abdirahman Tima-adde who is the chief of Somali army in Bakool region said the soldiers have killed the officer after they suspected him collaborating with Al shabaab as ‘an undercover agent. On the other hand, Tima-adde added that Somali national army (SNA) and African Union troops (AMISOM) have pushed the Al shabaab militants out their remaining pockets in Bakool region. |
