Turkey foils ISIS suicide attack on US consulate in Istanbul |

's Today Zaman reported. The threat of the suicide kaboom closed the consulate for one day on December 15. "Muhammad Raghil Al Hardani, a Syrian national, was detained by security forces at the Kahramanmaras bus station," Today Zaman reported. According to Turkish security officials al Hardani had recently entered Turkey from Syria. The Turkish security had informed the US consulate about the threat and provided information on the planned attack. Al Hardani's capture comes at a time when the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS) has expended its activities beyond the borders of Iraq and Syria where the group maintains its bases. |
