| Iraqis detain 119 in Kirkuk |

| (IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – On Thursday, a security source in Kirkuk province stated that the security forces arrested 66 wanted and suspects during a raid and search operation in northeast of the province, while pointed out to the arrest of 53 refugees that do not have formal approvals for residence. The source said in a brief statement received by IraqiNrws, “Today, a force from the emergency police raided Banja Ali neighborhood north-east of the province, and was able to arrest 66 wanted and suspects”. The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added, “The force seized three stolen vehicles,” noting that, “They arrested 53 individuals, mostly refugees who do not have a formal residence approval.” Noteworthy the security forces at the province of Kirkuk carry out raid and search operations from time to time which result in the arrest of several wanted people for criminal offenses and terrorism. |
