| Woman arrested on 17th DUI charge in Bedford County |

[WRCBTV] A woman in Shelbyville is facing her 17th DUI charge after being nabbedYouse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit! over the weekend. "[Hic!] Yersh, offisher?" Police responded to a crash on North Main Street on Dec. 11. They said they found alcohol containers in a grocery bag inside one of the cars. According to the arrest report, the driver had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. "Je-e-zus, Flanigan! Put that out! We'll all go up with her!" Kaye Hanson, 59, reportedly told police she drank two alcohol beverages and that her license was suspended. "Only two? How big were they?" "The firsht was 64 ounces. I don... don... don't remember the shecond... Mebbe it wuzh only one..." Hanson has 16 prior DUI convictions from 1985 to present. She has also been convicted of driving on a revoked license 15 times. |
