| [Hurriyet] Turkish police have intervened with tear gas and water cannons to a group protesting the military operations and curfews in the southeastern districts of Cizre, Silopi and Sur. Rooters reported "hundreds" of protesters were chased into the side streets of Istanbul's central Istiklal Avenue by riot police wearing protective gear. |
