| Syrian Army, Allies Control Maarata Town in Aleppo Southern Countryside |

| [ALMANAR.LB] The Syrian Army and allies managed on Monday to control Maarata town in Aleppo southern countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists. Al-Manar correspondent reported that scores of snuffies fled the battlefield with the advent the troops of the Syrian army and its allies. Maarata lies to the east of Khan Toman which the Syrian army and allies liberated on Sunday. Hezbollah and the Syrian army launched a rocketry attack on the ISIL terrorists' gathering in Mortbiya, Roumyat, Dahr Ali, and Zamarani in Qalamoun barrens; consequently, many snuffies were reported to be killed. The Syrian air force targeted one of the terrorists' headquarters during a command meeting in Khan Sheikh area in Damascus southern countryside, killing or injuring a number of Lion of Islams. The Syrian military units also dismantled a booby-trapped car rigged with over 200 kilograms of explosives near a school in Akrama neighborhood in Homs. The Russian warplanes also targeted the terrorists' gatherings in Salma city in Latakia, killing scores of them. The Syrian army and allies further continued the anti-terrorist campaign in various provinces, claiming the lives of a large number of Lion of Islams. |
