| (IraqiNews.com) Diyali – A local source in Diyali province said on Sunday, that seven security elements of the police and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi had been either killed or wounded in a militant attack northeast of Baqubah. The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “Militants suspected of belonging to ISIS attack, this morning, joint security posts in the surrounding area of Tawakol Village in the district of al-Maqdadiyah (35 km northeast of Baqubah), resulting in the death of two policemen and one element of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi, in addition to injuring four others from the police.” “The security authorities cordoned off the area and began an investigation to track down the perpetrators,” the source added. |
