| [Tolo News] At least ten Daesh [Islamic State] snuffies were killed in an Afghan air strike in eastern Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The air strike took place in Kot district of the province after an Afghan air force helicopter targeted the group of holy warriors, Provincial Police Chief Fazil Ahmad Shirzad said. There were no civilian casualties during the air strike, he said. In recent months the Afghan cops have increased their military operations in eastern parts of Afghanistan especially in Nangarhar to clear all holy warriors. |
