| Three militants killed in Turbat gunbattle |

| GWADAR: Three suspected militants were killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Turbat area of Kech district on Thursday. Official sources said that the personnel of Frontier Corps and an intelligence agency were searching Tabjan and Semi areas near Turbat on information about the presence of militants involved in a recent attack on the employees of Frontier Works Organisation. During the search, a gunfight with suspects erupted which continued for hours resulting in the death of three suspected members of a banned militant organisation. “Three militants have been killed and a large quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from their hideout,” an FC spokesman said.
