| [AlAhram] Two "members of a terrorist group" were killed in an exchange of fire with police in 6 October city on the outskirts of Cairo on Monday, a security source told MENA. The security source said that the pair possessed weapons and ammunition inside their apartment. Police have also recently carried out random searches of apartments in downtown Cairo, according to reports by residents. Security forces intensified their presence at key facilities on Monday, which marks the fifth anniversary of the January 25 Revolution. |
