| 5 ISIS Bad Guys die in Salahuddin |

| (IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Monday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, that 15 members of the so-called the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) had been either killed or wounded in an armed attack targeted their checkpoint north of Tikrit (170 km north of Baghdad). The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, youth of Sharqat District who are also known as ‘Sharqat Falcons’ carried out an armed attack on a checkpoint belonging to ISIS in the district, killing five ISIS members and injuring ten others,” adding that, “The youth of Sharqat District have written (long live Sharqat Falcons) on the walls.” Noteworthy, joint forces recently managed to free Baiji (40 km north of Tikrit), in addition to the strategic oil refinery. |
