| Kurd artillery hits ISIS positions in Jarablus |

| [ARA News] KOBANE – Kurdish forces of the people’s Protection Units (YPG) hit the ISIS-held Syrian border city of Jarablus with artillery shells and mortar fire, causing losses in the group’s ranks, military sources reported on Monday. Jarablus, located on the Syria-Turkey border, is deemed strategic for the radical group of Islamic State (ISIS) as it served for long as a passage point for foreigner jihadis who joined the ranks of ISIS. The Kurdish forces launched the anti-ISIS attack from their headquarters in the western countryside of Kobane.
