| Syria forces liberate Ein al-Hanash near Aleppo |

| [Iran Press TV] Syrian forces have recaptured the village of Ein al-Hanash near the major city of Aleppo in the northwestern part of the country. An unidentified source told Syria's news agency SANA on Tuesday that an army unit managed to restore security to the village after an intensive operation. The military's engineering units also dismantled landmines and bombs left behind by the Daesh [Islamic State] Takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed... terrorists. Earlier on Tuesday, the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Syrian forces liberated the southwestern town of Shaykh Maskin from Daesh [Islamic State], cutting off their routes between the eastern and western sections of Dara'a Province. The recent advances of the Syrian forces against Daesh [Islamic State] and other terrorist groups have been expedited by the air cover provided by Russia, which began on September 30, 2015, at the request of the Damascus government. The crisis in Syria, which flared in March 2011, has so far claimed the lives of over 260,000 people and displaced nearly half of the country's population within or out of its borders. |
