The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “Today, unidentified militants opened fire against a civilian in the area of al-Yarmouk west of Baghdad, resulting in his immediate death,” adding that, “Another militant group attacked, today, another civilian in the area of al-Ma’moun west of Baghdad, resulting in his death immediately.” The source continued, “A security force arrived in the areas of the two incidents and transferred the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department.” Gunmen rob currency exchange office in southern Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Thursday, a police source announced, that unidentified gunmen stole 250 million dinars from a currency exchange office in southern Baghdad. The source stated, “This evening, gunmen driving modern vehicles robbed a currency exchange office in al-Sayediya area in southern Baghdad and were able to steal 250 million dinars.” “The gunmen managed to escape, while a security force rushed to the area and opened an investigation into the incident,” he added. |
