| Drone strike kills 3 ISIS militants in Nangarhar |

| A drone strike has killed three fighters of the terrorist group of the Islamic State (IS) which is locally known by its Arabic name ‘Daesh’ in eastern Nangarhar province. Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesperson for the police headquarters of Nangarhar province said the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) attack was conducted in Bandar area of Achin District around 04:00 PM on Tuesday. He said the attack left three insurgents of Daesh killed. According to Col. Mashriqiwal, there was no harm to civilians in the drone strike. It comes a day after four strikes killed 29 militants of the group in the same district. The air strikes also destroyed the group’s radio ‘Voice of the Caliphate’ which was running a propaganda campaign against government and recruiting fighters for insurgency. |
