| Iraqis captures ISIS position in Diyali |

| (IraqiNews.com) Diyali – The Ministry of Defense announced on Monday the destruction of a shelter belonging to ISIS during a security operation north of al-Azim District. The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “A security force belonging to Diyali police had managed to seize a shelter for ISIS gangs during a security operation by Diyali police north of al-Azim District,” adding that, “The shelter contains a great number of explosive devices and motorcycles used by ISIS gangs for transportation in Salahuddin province.” The statement added, “The operation aimed at preventing ISIS from finding safe havens in the northern areas of Diyali province.” |
