Activists Blast Govt For Not Ensuring Justice In Farkhunda Case

[Tolo News] Women rights activists lashed out at government on Sunday for not ensuring justice in the Farkhunda case.

They claim justice has not been served. The activists accuse the Supreme Court of negligence.

Sultana Khaknezhad, the defense attorney in the Farkhunda case accused the Supreme Court of negligence.

"Justice was undermined. Pace of the case is very slow. They (Supreme Court) want people to forget about this case,"she said. The brutal murder of Farkhunda last year sparked reactions inside the country and around the globe. The Afghan government was asked to bring those involved to book.
