2016-02-17
(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Tuesday the so-called Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) published the names of more than 1,000 people who were executed in Mosul.

al-Hashed al-Watani spokesman in Mosul Mahmoud al-Surja said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Today, ISIS published the names of people who were executed by ISIS members in Mosul,” pointing out that, “The number of the executed people reached 1065, and they had been arrested previously during ISIS control on Mosul.”

Al-Surja added, “ISIS pasted those lists on the walls of the forensic medicine department and hospitals in the province.”

#2  The 'Human Rights' community demands perfection rather than accept the reality of collateral damage. Better to suffer 200 or 300 civilian casualties taking out rather than allowing the barbarians to kill a thousand. It's a matter of trade offs, always has been. The French suffered about 50-60,000 casualties in the time between the German occupation and the liberation of France from allied bombings and the fighting after D-Day.

#1  1065 in Mosul alone.

Kinda makes carpet bombing the shit out of ISIS seem cheap by comparison in terms of lives, doesn't it?
