| Warbirds pound ISIS positions (IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A security source in Anbar Province announced, that the headquarters of the so-called ISIS in Heet and Kabisa Districts had been destructed by a bombardment carried out by the international coalition aviation west of Ramadi. The source said in a press statement, “The international coalition aviation, backed by the army’s 7th brigade conducted an air strike on ISIS headquarters in Heet and Kabisa south of Heet.” The source added, “The bombardment resulted in the destruction of the headquarters, while inflicted heavy human and material losses on ISIS.” ISIS executes 4 in Fallujah (IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – A tribal leader in clan al-Jerissat in Fallujah said on Wednesday, that the ISIS elements executed four civilians from the residents of Fallujah on charges of spying for the benefit of the security forces in the city. Majid al-Jerissat, the leader in clan al-Jerissat, said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, elements of the ISIS carried out the execution of four civilians from the people of Fallujah by shooting them dead in a park in the center of the city on charges of spying for the security forces.” Jerissat called the central government and security leaders to “start an extensive military operation to retake Fallujah and lift the siege on besieged families and prisoners.” |
