The USAF was told that the proposed JPL Kalman filter wouldn't hack it. So they went into this with eyes wide open. Changing requirements? I would wager that OCX can't match the accuracy of the existing GPS system. And likely never will. The good news is that LMCO should be able to update the existing system to handle the new GPS III satellite. |
