JUI-F provincial executive council, which met here on Wednesday, decided that it would allow the provincial government to introduce any bill in the assembly regarding women rights which was repugnant to Sharia. A statement said that JUI-F provincial chief Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan chaired the meeting. The council strongly condemned Punjab Protection of Women against Violence and alleged that such laws were aimed at promoting western culture and indecency in the society. The council said that Pakistain was being made a secular state and some elements were trying to destroy family system. The statement said that Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government had abandoned health and education sectors and handed them over to NGOs. It said that Kalashnikov culture was promoted in the name of security in educational institutions as government allowed students and teachers to carry weapons for self protection. |
