| KDF snatch Shaboobs in Afmadow |

| Reports reaching our news desk indicate that Kenyan troops launched a security sweep in Afmadow town of Lower Jubba region, arresting six teenage boys linked to Al shabaab. Abdirashid Abdi Goni, Lower Jubba governor, told Radio Shabelle the KDF conducted massive operations inside the town, and held six youngsters, whom they believe to be Al shabaab members. Mr Goni has urged Afmadow residents to assist with the process, report any cases of crime, insecurity to the city’s police station and Kenyan army to maintain peace and lasting stability.
