a Paleostinian woman near Abu Dis on Monday after finding a knife in her possession.

The suspect, who raised the suspicion of the fighters at the Kiosk checkpoint, approached the troops with a backpack on her back. The Border Policemen ordered her to stop and throw her bag to the ground. After searching it, the fighters found a knife inside. During initial questioning on the scene, the suspect said she planned to commit an attack against security forces.

in West Bank

Israeli forces arrested three Turkish nationals who had crossed into Israel from Jordan overnight Sunday, police announced Monday. IDF soldiers first spotted the three men and signaled to Border Police officers to investigate, the police said in a statement.

Police fanned out on a stretch of Arava Valley road that runs parallel to the border to nab the three, an Israel Police front man said. The men were found near the Grofit Kibbutz, just outside of Eilat, and taken to the southern city for questioning.

In the West Bank, Israeli security forces arrested 14 Paleostinians overnight.

Of them, 12 were arrested for so-called "popular terrorism" -- Molotov cocktail and rock throwing or participation in violent demonstrations. The other two were arrested for undisclosed reasons, the IDF said. Five of the Paleostinians who were arrested came from the Qalandiya refugee camp, where last week a violent clash broke out between IDF troops and local Paleostinians when a pair of soldiers accidentally entered the camp.

The firefight that erupted in Qalandiya left one Paleostinian dead, 10 Israeli soldiers injured and dozens of Paleostinians maimed.

Japanese tourist wounded in stone-throwing attack outside Jerusalem church

[Jpost] A 69-year-old tourist from Japan was lightly maimed on Monday by stone-throwers who pelted a group of visitors from a roof near Saint Anne's Church in Jerusalem, police said.

Paramedics transferred the maimed woman with light wounds to the head to the emergency room at Hadassah University Medical Center.

"I'm a tourist in Israeli as part of a tour group of Japanese people who love Israel, I was very surprised by the stone-throwing attack," said the maimed woman. "At the time [of the attack] I was praying and I didn't understand what had hit me."

She added that she had not been seriously maimed.

"I am still happy that I came to Israel and I do not regret it, I will continue the tours and I soon join back with the group after my treatment at Hadassah," she stated.

Police have launched searches for the perpetrators of the incident that occurred outside the Roman Catholic church near Lion's Gate. The identity of the assailants was not initially known.

Palestinians say Gaza man shot, wounded by IDF

[IsraelTimes] Paleostinian medical sources in the Gazoo Strip claimed Monday that the IDF shot and moderately maimed a man during a border incident. Israel said, however, that troops only had gun sex as a warning.

According to the Paleostinian new agency Ma’an, local Gazooks reported that the man was shot in the leg east of Maghazi refugee camp in the center of the Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason,-ruled Strip, where he lay unattended for half an hour until an ambulance could reach him. The man was eventually taken to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in nearby Deir al-Balah.
No doubt there is an official Paliwood video of the poor, suffering victim... and more video of him dancing with the guys at a wedding immediately thereafter.
The IDF said in a statement that troops came under fire and responded with warning shots into the air.

"Initial reports suggest that earlier this morning an assailant shot up IDF soldiers securing the border along the southern Gazoo Strip, adjacent to the community of Kissufim," the statement read. "Forces responded, firing warning shots into the air."

There were no injuries among the IDF soldiers.
