[GMA News] A Abu Sayyaf militant was captured after Philippine troops battled an undetermined number of armed men in Sulu on Monday afternoon. The gun battle occurred Monday afternoon in Patikul and lasted for about 10 minutes, The armed men withdrew with an undetermined number of casualties on their side.The captured insurgent is currently being interrogated. He will then be turned over to the National Police for filing of appropriate charges and for violation of the election gun ban.
