ISIL’s Omar Al-Shishani Survived US Strike: Observatory |
2016-03-11 |
[ALMANAR.LB] A top commander of the so-called 'Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) Omar al-Shishani, known as Omar the Chechen, was "seriously injured" in a recent US strike in Syria but not killed, a monitoring group said Wednesday, after a US official said the murderous Moslem had "likely died" in the attack. The opposition Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that according to its sources, the March 4 strike had indeed targeted a convoy of the wanted terrorist, killing his bodyguards, but he himself "was maimed" and taken to hospital. "He's not dead," the Observatory's director Rami Abdel Rahman said. Pray for sepsis. |
