[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The corpse count as a result of the bloody festivities among the rival Taliban groups has climbed and reached to almost 150 people, local officials said Thursday.

A member of the provincial council confirmed the latest toll and said majority of those killed belong to Mullah Mohammad Rasool, one of the main side in the deadly infighting.

The local government officials confirmed the bloody infighting which broke out on Monday afternoon but said the exact corpse count could not be confirmed at the moment.

Another security official earlier today confirmed that nearly 200 Talibs were killed or maimed in the attack.

The official further added that the two rival groups have also summary executions of the detained fighters as well as the local residents.

The festivities continue between the two sides in two regions of Shindand district, Charqala and Bakhtabad, according to the local security officials.
