| Iraqi Army destroys ISIS headquarters south of Mosul |

| (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A source in Nineveh Operations Command announced on Thursday, that the Iraqi Army artillery destroyed headquarters belonging to the so-called ISIS south of Mosul in Nineveh Province (405 km north of Baghdad), while pointed out that the operation was carried out in response to a similar attack launched by ISIS. The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The army’s 15th artillery brigade carried out an artillery shelling targeted the headquarters of ISIS in Sultan Abdullah village in Qayyarah area (60 km south of Mosul),” adding that, “The shelling destructed many headquarters belonging to ISIS.” “The shelling was carried out in response to ISIS attack on the brigade’s headquarters on Thursday morning, using a number of Katyusha rockets,” the statement continued. |
