| 9 missing in Wana |

| WANA: Nine people, among them employees of the Fata Development Authority (FDA) and guards, went missing in Gul Kach area of South Waziristan tribal region on Thursday. An official in the political administration told Dawn that Project Director Atiq Bangash was among the missing people. He said that five officials of the FDA were inspecting small dam projects in Gul Kach area when they went missing along with four local people who served as their guards. Gul Kach is located some 30km west of Wana, adjacent to the Zhob district in Balochistan. The political administration has sent Khasadars (local police) to find the missing people. Tribal elders will also be contacted for the purpose. Published in Dawn, March 11th, 2016 |
