| Two dacoits killed in police encounter |

| KHANEWAL: Two dacoits were killed during a police encounter in Dandi Sargana area of Serai Sidhu on Friday. As per reports, police on information about four dacoits riding on two motorbikes looted Rs 12,000 from a petrol pump near Pul Bagar and fled away to Mohripur. Police team cordoned off the area and tried to stop dacoits near Batti Bangla on which they opened fire. The police in retaliation too opted to firing as a result of which two dacoits Mukhitar Hussain and Imran were perished. Two other dacoits managed to escape. |
