Hamas says delegation to meet Egyptian officials in Cairo
2016-03-13
[AlAhram] A senior Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, official says a delegation from the Islamic holy warrior group is heading to Cairo to discuss the group's strained relationship with the Egyptian government.
Given the new, 3 km long super-tunnels Hamas has been digging for trade with their ISIS in the Sinai buddies, that conversation should be interesting.
The official spoke anonymously as he is not authorized to brief the media on this issue.

Relations between Hamas and Egypt have soured since the ouster of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi in 2013; Hamas and Morsi's Moslem Brüderbund were close allies.

Egyptian officials have more than once linked Hamas to terror acts in Egypt, which spiked following the toppling of Morsi.

Last week, Cairo accused Hamas of playing a major role in the 2015 liquidation of Egypt's chief prosecutor.
The Times of Israel adds:
Group says delegation will meet with intelligence officials, discuss accusations it played role in 2015 murder of top Egyptian prosecutor
