Mukachevo prosecutor found driving drunk 10X legal limit |
2016-03-14 |
Mukachevo is not just a backwater in the Carpathians. It is a rest stop for smuggling operations between Ukraine and the rest of eastern Europe, east and west bound. Also, this happened in Mukachevo last summer. An unidentified prosecutor was detained by police in Mukachevo after his blood alcohol test indicated he was 10 times over the legal limit, according to a Russian language news account in korrespodent.net. According to the police the unidentified man tried to sway police from arresting him by pointing out his high office. The report said the man tested 1.098 ppm. Shoulda tested him for blood content. Hey, it could help! |

#5 You have to understand he's Russian... and thus has been bred for those levels of intoxication for at least the last 500 years. |

#4 Primitive western blood alcohol standards don't account for the necessity of antifreeze in the human system. |

#3 Maybe the Russian legal limit is pretty wimpy and ten times is just buzzed. Not like our robust drinkers.... Nah. |
