| 15 militants killed in latest air and ground operations of Afghan forces |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 15 anti-government armed turbans were killed and 24 others were maimed in the latest counter-terrorism operations, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said. Acccording to an operational update by MoD, the operations were jointly conducted by Afghan army, Afghan police and other security institutions who were supported by the Afghan Air Force. At least 7 of the turbans were killed in air and ground operations in Nawa and Khanshin districts of Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... province, MoD said, adding that 11 others were maimed. MoD further added that 2 turbans were killed and 4 others were maimed in a seprate operation in Shahid Hasas district of Uruzgan province, while 4 turbans were killed and 6 others were maimed during an operation in Dasht-e-Archi district of Kunduz province. A weapons cache of the turbans was discovered and seized during ongoing operations in Dand-e-Ghori and Dand-e-Shahabuddin districts of Baghlan province and a suspected hard boy was tossed in the clink Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un! , MoD added.
