| 1 dies in market bombing in Baghdad |

| (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Friday, that nine people had been either killed or injured in a bomb blast that took place in southern Baghdad. The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, an explosive device went off near a popular market in the vicinity of al-Yusifiyah in southern Baghdad, resulting in the death of one person and wounding eight others,” adding that, “A security force rushed to the area of the incident and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and the dead to the forensic medicine authority.” Share this: |
