| Rangers check post attacked |

| KARACHI: A Rangers check post was attacked with a cracker bomb in Korangi area of Karachi on Monday, raising the total number of such attacks to four this month. According to reports, the incident took place at Korangi no 2-1/2. However, no casualties were reported. Heavy contingent of police and Rangers reached on the spot immediately after the incident. On Friday last week, unidentified outlaws hurled a grenade at the check post of paramilitary troops at main Korangi crossing, leaving two personnel injured. Similar attacks also took place in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Essa Nagri areas of the city on March 13. |
