| Iraqi forces attack ISIS in 2 villages (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A security source in Nineveh Province revealed on Saturday, that the joint forces launched a security operation to liberate Nineveh and besieged two villages within al-Qayyarah axis. The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The joint forces from Nineveh Operations, Peshmerga and al-Hashed al-Asha’ri started an operation to liberate al-Nasr and Humaidan villages in al-Qayyarah village,” pointing out that, “The joint forces are clashing with ISIS and will liberate the two villages in the coming few hours.” The source added, “The security forces are moving based on an accurate plan to cut ISIS supply lines.” 4 ISIS boomniks die (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A security source in Nineveh province said Saturday, that the army forces had killed four suicide bombers belonging to the ISIS south of the province. The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Military troops from the [army’s] Fifteenth Division had managed, this morning, to kill four suicide bombers driving four armored vehicles in an attempt to get close to the military forces near the village of al-Khattab in the vicinity of Qayyarah (5 km south of Nineveh).” The source added, “The anti-armor missiles have achieved 100 percent injury in the destruction of four targets before approaching the military troops near the village of al-Khattab.” 25 ISIS Bad Guys die in artillery attacks (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A source in Nineveh Liberation Operations Command announced on Friday, that 25 fighters of the so-called ISIS were killed in an artillery shelling south of Mosul. The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “A force from the army’s 15th brigade carried out an artillery shelling on ISIS headquarters in al-Khatab village in Qayyarah District during ISIS members meeting.” The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The shelling resulted in the killing of 25 militants belonging to ISIS, as well as destructing their headquarters completely.” |
