| Kurd operations in Mosul halted due to weather |

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – The leader in Peshmerga forces Zariar Fessani announced on Monday, that the military operations south of Mosul stopped due to the bad weather conditions, while pointed out that the Iraqi army forces controlled three villages in Makhmour axis. Zariar Fessani said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The military operations carried out by the Iraqi army forces on the outskirts of Nasir Village south of Mosul had been stopped due to the bad weather conditions and heavy rains in the area.” Fessani added, “The Iraqi army forces managed to retake three villages from ISIS in Makhmour District south of Mosul.” |
