| Ansarullah Stresses Commitment to Yemen Ceasefire |

| The key word here is readiness... A truce brokered by the United Nations went into effect in Yemen, with revolutionary movement, Ansarullah, stressed its commitment to ceasefire. The ceasefire came into effect on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. after Ansarullah and the exiled government, which is backed by Saudi Arabia, agreed o a truce ahead of a planned resumption of peace talks in Kuwait on April 19. For its part, Ansarullah assured it will abide by the UN-brokered ceasefire. “Following discussions with the UN in the recent days, we handed late on Saturday our letter to (UN Yemen envoy) Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, in which we agreed to the ceasefire and we voice our readiness to abide by it,” Yemeni news agency, Sabaa, quoted Ansarullah source as saying.
