Iraqi militia prepares for Fallujah operation
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The leadership of al-Hashed al-Shaabi in Anbar Province announced on Tuesday, that the liberation operations of Fallujah will start soon,

The commander of Karmat Fallujah brigade in al-Hashed al-Shaabi, Colonel Juma Fazaa Jumaili said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The final preparations for the cleansing operation of Fallujah are ongoing,” noting that, “More than four thousand fighters will join the storming of the city, backed by the international coalition aviation.”
Jumaili added, “The security forces from the army, police and al-Hashed al-Shaabi fighters will also join the cleansing operations backed by the Federal Police regiments and artillery units,” pointing out that, “The coming few days will witness the start of the cleansing operations in the city, after the collapse of ISIS in Ramadi and Heet.”
4 ISIS Bad Guys die in Iraqi army op in Heet
(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations Command, Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi, announced on Tuesday the killing of four ISIS elements, including a suicide bomber, in the district of Heet west of Ramadi.
Mahalawi said in a brief statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “A force from the Third Regiment of the army’s 16th Division had managed to destroy a booby-trapped vehicle driven by a suicide bomber in the center of Heet City (70 km west of Ramadi),” adding that, “[Another] force from the Third Regiment of the army’s 16th Division was able to destroy a boat belonging to the ISIS and kill three ISIS elements northeast of Heet.”
40 ISIS troops die as Iraqi forces clear hospital
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday, Heet District Council in Anbar Province announced the cleansing of Heet Teaching Hospital and al-Jamayia neighborhood in Heet District in western Anbar, while pointed out that the operations resulted in the killing of 40 ISIS fighters.
The Head of Heet Council, Mohammed Mohannad al-Hiti, said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces managed to cleanse Heet Hospital and al-Jamayia neighborhood in central Heet, after fierce battles against ISIS fighters. ”
Hiti added, “The cleansing battles resulted in the killing of 40 ISIS members, in addition to destructing nine vehicles,” noting that, “The security forces are advancing in al-Zohor neighborhood.”
“The next few hours will witness the liberation of the remaining areas of Heet, as well as raising the Iraqi flag over its government buildings,” Hiti continued.
