| ISIS Bad Guy dies in shooting in Diyala |

| (IraqiNews.com) Diyali – A security source in Diyali province said on Wednesday, that a security force killed an ISIS element during clashes with him in an area east of Baqubah. The source said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com, A combat force from the [army’s] 20th Brigade of the 15th Division conducted a tactical operation in the vicinity of Shalgham al-Nada (55 km east of Baqubah) and clashed with one of the ISIS militants who barricaded himself inside a residential house before he was killed.” The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The force found an explosive belt and a [roadside] bomb in possession of the dead,” noting that, “The dead [man] was wanted on charges of terrorism.” |
