Two Ansar Khilafa militants killed in Sarangani |

![]() The AKP, led by a certain Mohammad Jaafar Sabiwang Maguid, alias 'Tokboy,' clashed with the lawmen at around 3 a.m. Thursday. Two of his followers were killed, with no casualties on the government side. An initial report identified Maguid as the head of AKP in Sarangani and Sultan Kudarat area. He escaped during the encounter. According to Mayor, Maguid and his men were able to escape from a clash on November 26, 2015, with government troops in Palimbang town in Sultan Kudarat. At least eight suspected AKP members were killed in that battle. Mayor said the fatalities included a certain Ibrahim Sucipto Ibrahim Ali/Abu/Masud/Abu Muhammad/Huzaifa, an Indonesian National and who was a former leader of the Jemaah Islamiyah in Mindanao. |
